In celebration of its 75th anniversary, the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE), in partnership with the American University in Cairo (AUC) and AUC’s Tahrir Cultural Center (TCC), is organizing a conference entitled Egyptian Cultural Heritage Now. This three-day conference will focus on challenges, opportunities, trends and innovations in the field of cultural heritage.
We invite people to submit papers relating to the following topics:
- Archaeological Sciences and Egyptian Cultural Heritage
- Digital Technologies and Egyptian Cultural Heritage
- Climate Change and Egyptian Cultural Heritage
- Decolonizing the Egyptian Past
- Egyptian Museums Today and Tomorrow
- Egyptian Heritage Site Management
- Engaging Local Communities
- Involving the Private Sector
The conference will feature academic papers as well as panel discussions focusing on issues affecting the study of Egyptian cultural heritage from all periods of Egyptian history. The Academic papers will be published in a peer-reviewed publication. Panel discussions by invited participants.
