Usama Mahgoub
Supervising Librarian
Usama Mahgoub is ARCE’s Supervising Librarian. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Ain Shams University in 1989. Mr. Mahgoub also holds a diploma in Library Science from Cairo University (2004) and has taken courses in Egyptology, Ancient Egyptian Religion and Islamic and Coptic Art at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo and the Supreme Council of Antiquities. Before starting his job at ARCE, Mr. Mahgoub worked part-time as an Assistant Librarian at The American University in Cairo (AUC). He started working at ARCE in 2002 as a Librarian and was promoted to Supervising Librarian in 2016. Mr. Mahagoub has participated in library conferences in Helwan University and the Maadi Library.
