Tyler Mestan
Tyler Mestan is a dedicated international affairs professional, with experience in operations support, cultural diplomacy, and international exchange programming. Tyler spent three years with USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives, providing essential administrative support for colleagues in all parts of the world. Prior to receiving his master’s degree in international affairs from American University’s School of International Service, he served in Peace Corps, Nicaragua as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language.
In addition to virtual work with the State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program, Tyler has participated in a variety of immersive Arabic-Language study abroad programs in Jordan with the Council on International Educational Exchange and in Oman and Morocco with the State Department’s Critical Language Scholarship Program. Most recently, Tyler was the Bar Manager for the 1921 Biergarten, the primary earned revenue generator of the Heurich House Museum in Washington, D.C. He currently serves as the Board Clerk for ARCE.
