Shaban Mohamed Ahmed is the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE) Luxor’s Office Manager. Mohamed graduated from Cairo University, Faculty of Arts, History Department and has been working with ARCE since 2013. His first position was Database Entry and the supervisor for all workers and SCA Inspectors. His responsibility was to follow up the attendance and departure of employees and workers, and at this time there were about a thousand workers affiliated with various projects. Mohamed then got promoted to the position of Office Manager, where he worked on many projects in Luxor affiliated with the ARCE such as the Draa Abu al-Naga project, Qurnat Meri, Deir El-Shelwit temple, Medinet Habu temple,  Khonsu and Mut temple in Karnak. Mohamed gained a lot of experience such as teamwork since he dealt with all classes, which included workers, archaeologists, conservators, Egyptians, and foreigners.
