Amira Gamal

Amira Gamal is the Library Portal and Cataloguing Supervisor at the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE). In 2003, she received her B.A. in Library and Information Science from Cairo University. Gamal has 20 years of work experience at the ARCE Library. Her responsibilities include cataloguing and classifying publications, articles, journals, and other reference materials in the ARCE Library, ensuring the physical integrity of rare items in the collections and facilitating appropriate access to the use of the 40K+ items within the Library. She also played a fundamental role in the launch of ARCE’s library portal and is responsible for maintaining and updating the digital library collection.
