ARCE North Texas Chapter Travels to Egypt

In January, twenty members of NT-ARCE set forth to explore the sights and sites of Egypt under the expert guidance of Gayle Gibson of the Royal Ontario Museum and Dr. Okasha el Daly of the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archeology. It was an ambitious group, instructing their guides to show them "everything." The remarkable guides were undaunted by the request, to the appreciation of all. Sam Martin commented, "Because I went on a general group tour of Egypt two years ago, I knew that I needed to go back for something more academic in nature. This tour offered me the level of education that I was seeking."

Paul Zeis, a first time traveler to Egypt, said, "I anticipated a great history lesson, and I sure got that with our wonderful tour leaders. It was like watching the Super Bowl® with John Madden, Troy Aikman and Pat Summerall sitting next to me."
